Today was such a long day, work is just not slowing down! I went to put my gym clothes on at the end of the day and I didn't have my sports bra or socks, DAMN IT! I drove home and decided that I would go for a walk/run instead since I didn't want to drive back to the gym and it was still light out.
I went for 50 minutes, walked up the hills (or walked backwards up them) and ran down them. I was sweating and it seemed like a good workout, different at least. My legs still hurt a little from using the free weights and doing squats and lunges last night so this definitely didn't help. I also got a nice looking blister on my foot tonight, UGH. I don't bitch about being single too often cause at this point in my life I enjoy it BUT I could really use a massage (yeah I know I could make an appointment and pay for one but that's probably not ever going to happen)!
I told one of my friends I'd use my guest pass to bring her to the gym tomorrow. She chose 530 a.m. I am not even sure what the world looks like at that time but I'll find out tomorrow. Then it's off to work and finish the day with dinner at Oma's. I'm planning on doing The Biggest Loser Last Chance Workout tomorrow night or Thursday morning depending on how I feel.

I would have given myself a "bye" after having no socks or bra. You are SERIOUS to have come home and walked backwards up the hills. Good for you!
ReplyDeleteI do that all the time - either leave socks, a bra or worse shoes at home. Good for you busting out a workout anyways!
