This past weekend was great and relaxing but I'm still tired from it lol. The new guy and I went to my hometown (on the lake) to get away from the normal weekend craziness. We went out for dinner with my mother and her boyfriend and then spent the following day at the lake just laying around and swimming. I showed him around the small town and we had a lot of fun. I had to basically drag him out of there; he didn't want to come back home.
Sunday we went to a BBQ at my Great Aunt's house. I think it was virtually painless for him though. Everyone was really nice to him, no embarrassing comments thank god. He was really sweet about even going since I would have been a nervous wreck if the situation was the other way around.
I stayed OP all weekend but I didn't make it to the gym at all. I was back there after work today and had a great workout. I got stuck on that tv show, something like I didn't know I was pregnant...it was ridiculous and I couldn't help watching the entire thing. I ended up doing 40 minutes on the arc trainer, 25 minutes on the treadmill, an ab workout, lunges, squats and other strength training for my legs.
I'm watching tv tonight and plan on making it an early night so I can get up early for the gym. Tomorrow is my Mom's birthday and I am meeting her after work at my Oma's house for dinner. She wants to have falafal (probably didn't spell that right!) and other stuff I've never had before but I told her I would try it. Don't knock it 'til you've tried it right?
