It happens...I got up this morning and hit up the gym (30 minutes arc trainer, 45 minutes treadmill) then I came home and decided to go do some shopping. Went to the mall for a few hours, popped into Victoria's Secret for some new undies and Old Navy for some new work out gear and that was that. Headed out to the local bar and wasted the night away...4MGDs and 3 rum and diets later I'm home.
I was going to have a real cheeseburger for tonight but that's been put on hold til tomorrow. I had a boca burger on an arnold sandwich thin w/lettuce, tomato and bbq sauce (pickle on the side). It was good but definitely not the real burger I have been desiring, CAN'T WAIT TIL TOMORROW for it lol. I am definitely sure I stayed within my points but there is no way I met the 8 healthy guidelines, oh well it happens :) It was still a great day!!!

What a strange weekend!
I've had a very wholesome weekend lol. Last night, a high school basketball game, and tonight, bingo with some girls. Last year (and by last year I mean December 2009 LOL) I would have been boozing it up both Friday and Saturday night to the point that I possibly might not remember portions of the night, including stuffing my face with mass amounts of pizza, steak and cheese subs or Chinese food at the end of the night! What a difference a New Year's resolution (and decision to change my life) makes! Tonight was great, we had a lot of fun :)
I went to the gym this morning since I knew I wanted to eat basically whatever I wanted tonight. I did 35 minutes on the elliptical, 30 minutes on the arc trainer, 25 minutes on the bike and 15 minutes on the treadmill. Then I came home and wanted to do an ab workout from OnDemand but OnDemand wasn't working and by the time I got off being on hold with Comcast I honestly just didn't feel like doing it anymore.
I went out for dinner with one my best friends to Margaritas; I love it there. I had looked at the menu online (no nutrition facts) but I had a lot of points. I had the fish tacos and didn't eat the corn tortillas because they were stuffed too full with cabbage, corn salsa and fish lol. She had soda so there was no pressure to have a drink so I just stuck with my diet soda. At bingo there are a lot of good things available to eat but I brought a 2point almond snack bar that I had gotten as a sample from a Weight Watchers meeting. I don't usually buy the products they have at meetings since they are so expensive but samples are good and this was very tasty.
Then we met a bunch of ladies at bingo. I won $50 right at the beginning of the night from pull tickets and that covered the entire night. SWEET :) After bingo I went out with one of the ladies for her birthday drink. I had a MGD 64 and took off home, it's midnight anyway (bingo takes a LONG TIME). Good night.

Fun Friday Night
I went to a girl's high school basketball game tonight and it was fun. My friend's daughter plays and it was pretty exciting. The other team definitely had a height advantage and put the full court press on throughout the entire game. My friend's daughter fouled out but the last one I have to say was a bunch of bullshit! Her team ended up losing the game but it wasn't for lack of effort.
Funniest thing about the night was when I got there you have to pay to get in and the woman selling the tickets said to me, "student right?" LOL, I'm 28 years old, w/my hair and make up done and yet I apparently can pass for a high school kid! Hilarious...the other ladies thought it was so funny.
I was going to go out for dinner but that fell through since I went to the gym after work (40 minutes on the elliptical and 15 minutes on the treadmill) and I didn't have enough time. I definitely saved points on that one (even though I had totally planned out what I was going to have at UNO and I had saved the points for it. I ended up having leftovers at home which was just as good.
Tomorrow I'm going out for dinner with a friend and playing bingo with a few lovely ladies. I don't really like it but they do so I'll take one for the team and go play. I'm sure it'll be fun anyway.

Weigh in day :)
So I lost 2.4lbs today, yay me! I got my 10 lb star and I am actually at 11.2lbs gone :) So excited.
Usually I go out to eat after weigh in and treat myself. Today I treated myself to sushi which is actually really OP. I had lots of just sashimi and then a little bit of a tuna roll. Not to shabby and I defiantly stayed within my 18.5 points I had saved for it.
I missed the gym today since I couldn't get my dead ass out of bed this morning and didn't have time after work before my meeting...back to it again tomorrow! This will be a tough weekend I have plans to go out to dinner on both Friday and Saturday...plan, plan, plan LOL

Weigh in tomorrow
I hope everything goes good. I've been working really hard and it should be a good one. I was OP again today even though I went to Oma's for dinner (haddock, cauliflower, only 2 pieces of potato, broccoli and salad...very good. I went to the gym after and did the arc trainer for 30 minutes then the bike for 30 minutes. I never have done the bike before but I just didn't feel like getting on the treadmill.
I got home and cut up my veggies and fruit for lunch breakfast and lunch tomorrow. I'm going to have a yogurt as well. I like to eat light since I am going to go out to eat after hopefully. I plan on getting up and going to the gym in the morning since I don't want to go tomorrow after work.
Now I'm going to relax and enjoy a vitatop deep chocolate and some skim milk...never had one of these before but they were out of the brownies, I hope they are good :)

Watching the Biggest Loser for motivation :)
Today was a great day. I am totally OP, went to the gym (30 minutes on the arc trainer, 30 minutes on the elliptical and 15 minutes on the treadmill) and feel great. Well my legs are a bit sore and I can still feel my obliques from my ab workout yesterday but besides that I feel great :)
I made one of my favorite dinners, breakfast casserole. Oh my god it is so good, low in points and packed with so many veggies, just delicious. I've posted this recipe before so I'll save your reading time by doing it again but look it up in my past post (it's one of my first ones) if you like omelets.
The Biggest Loser is on right now and I love watching it. I haven't in the past but I find it both motivational and irritating. I mean I love watching the show to learn new ideas and to see the results after their hard work. I mean this challenge they are doing to be able to talk to their families is absolutely ridiculous lol. BUT the show also irritates me because these people can lose in two weeks what I would like to lose altogether and that is frustrating. I know, they have more to lose and they are doing nothing but working out and eating right but come on, 24lbs in one week! What the hell, LOL.
That being said I really liked the yellow team right off the bat, I'm upset they had to leave so quickly but I hope they take advantage or their opportunity and are able to come back. As for the teams that are currently there I guess I like the grey or black team. I will admit I like the drive of the green team though and I think that if the daughter could just get in the right mindset they might be unstoppable. At this point it's any body's game :)

Made it through today without a binge
Even though I was stuck in my house all day long. By mid afternoon I felt good enough to do some exercise but not good enough to leave the house. I decided to do No More Trouble Zones with Jillian Michaels. UGH. It's just such a tough DVD but I made it through it. That workout really does a number on your arms and shoulders. There is one move called The Surrender and it is absolutely ridiculous. You hold weights in your hands straight above your head then you lunge back, put your knee down, put your other knee down and then go to a standing position again one leg at a time, then of course repeat a million times. Oh my god it was bad lol.
I tried to get my DVD player to work but I am having no luck. I don't know what I am going to do about it, but I'd really like to get it hooked up so I can buy a few DVDs that I've tried and incorporate them into my regular schedule. I'm getting my tax refund back in a few days and I was thinking about getting a Wii and then getting Your Shape but it's so much money. I think I might stick with buying Biggest Loser Boot Camp, Weight Loss Yoga and No More Trouble Zones. I've done a whole bunch of them but these are my three favorites. Decisions, decisions...

I will not blog drunk. I will not blog drunk. I will not blog drunk. I will not blog drunk...
LOL, we'll see how long that lasts, yesterday was a little overwhelming. I am home sick today so I hope that I don't eat a bunch of junk just because I am bored. Not that I could eat anything right now. Maybe I'll write later when I've actually done something.

Dinner Out tonight
Today was a great day considering I woke up without a hangover even though I had some adult beverages last night. I got up and went to the gym, 35 minutes on the elliptical, 30 minutes on the arc trainer and 30 minutes on the treadmill. Then I just relaxed and watched tv until I got a call to go out to dinner.
We went to a seafood/steak house and I knew ahead of time so I figured out that I really wanted fried scallops and I was going to have them. I had the fried scallops and only ate 9 as planned, gave the rest away. I had a few bites of steak and a side salad that really was good (mixed greens including spinach, tomatoes, cucumbers and croutons but I picked all of those off with light raspberry vin).
I passed up beer at the restaurant and just had diet soda then I passed up going out for a drink later in favor of coming home and watching The Simpsons Movie in my pjs. All in all a very good day.
I'm ready to watch some football tomorrow (hoping for a win from the Jets-never thought I'd say that! and the Vikings). Now I just need to figure out what it is that I want to bring...perhaps hummus and carrots like last time?

So I'm over yesterday
Well not really but life goes on and I know I was a wicked emotion tool yesterday lol. Anyways I could have given up and eaten nasty junk food all day long but I didn't (although I didn't make the healthiest decisions either). I had McDonald's for lunch which I totally planned, 4 piece chicken nugget happy meal with apples and a diet coke.
I went to the gym after work, which I didn't want to do. As Jillian would say, I totally phoned in the first part of my workout...30 minutes on the elliptical was more like a joke but I did it. Then I decided well I'm here I might as well do what I am supposed to and I got on the arc trainer for 30 minutes and did it like you are supposed to, hardcore. Then I did a 15 minute cool down on the treadmill. Not too shabby especially when I didn't even want to go.
I was planning on a fat free hot dog, light hot dog roll, pickle, cucumber salad and skim milk for dinner but well to be honest I went out drinking. I had 5 MGDs which I tracked and still had the hot dog with light roll when I got home. I still have .5 points left but I definitely did not meet my 8 healthy guidelines today...back on track tomorrow, you better believe it!

ugh pretty upset
So I only lost 1.6 lbs this week and I get it, you are only supposed to lose up to 2lbs a week but it sucks! It's only my second week and I worked out so much, it's really hard to hear such a low number.
Then I get the phone call from the ex and I say I don't want to talk, does he just let it go? No of course not, because everything is about him and there can be nothing that you can just keep to yourself ever. Nothing that you can just deal with on your own and be in a bullshit mood about. Ridiculous. Then of course by the end of the night I end up feeling like a freakin' asshole for telling him off. WTH, just leave me alone when I ask for that, how difficult is that to comprehend?

Boost.Metabolism w/Jillian Michaels
Today it snowed again. I guess it's winter time in New England so I really can't bitch but come on lol! It didn't start until I left work and was going to eat dinner at my Oma's. By the time we got done and I had gotten my gym clothes on the ground was covered with snow. I decided that I'd have to skip the gym due to the fear that I wouldn't be able to get up my road and it would be too late at night to get help. This frustrates me, it's just easier to go to the gym and work out then it is to force myself to do it at home.
I got home and shoveled (again). Then I decided to check out the Comcast OnDemand exercise tv. I mean it is free, well besides the outrageous price I pay for cable but...
I've done a few of these before and find the ones with the Biggest Loser coaches to be pretty good. I decided to try Boost.Metabolism with Jillian Michaels. The screen says in this workout Jillian uses a "fierce formula that adds strength and ab moves to dynamic cardio to increase fat loss." It includes a warm up and a cool down and basically does 6 different circuits that you do twice and is 59 minutes long.
I'll admit it, Jillian completely kicked my ass. I was actually swearing at her, and I don't mean just telling her to go to hell, I mean hard core swearing! I had to take breaks, I couldn't make it through the whole thing but I did the best I could. I really enjoyed the kickboxing aspects of it, I really hated the mountain climbers and some of the squat/jumps (yes I said squat/jumps, she puts them together). I might have to add some of these tv workouts to my schedule when I start doing strength training next week.

Pot luck at work today...
I brought buffalo chicken dip. It's my favorite and you can really take the calories out of it if you use fat free cream cheese, light dressing and eat it with celery instead of chips (or even baked scoops if you want to have those). I brought celery for myself and baked scoops for everyone else. I also brought some cut up fresh pineapple for myself.
I'll admit the food looked completely delicious. I snuck in there a little bit early and surveyed the options planning what I was going to have lol. I think I did great. I had 1/2 a cup of buffalo dip with celery sticks, 2 pieces of pepper jack cheese, 1 tbs artichoke dip, and 1/2 cup of chicken noodle soup. For dessert I had 1/2 a brownie with frosting (literally 1x1 inches since i cut it myself). I ate, waited for the presentation of the gift and then went back to work.
But then they put the desserts out after the party was over and those damn brownies were all I could think about. I decided to try some gum and it actually worked. I mean I still wanted the brownies but the chewing was good and it prevented me from being face down in them like I was dreaming about :) plus I kept telling myself that I had vita brownies at home and I could have one of those for dessert which is just as good. Honestly if you have not tried these I think they are absolutely fantastic. The ones that I got have walnuts on top and they are only one point each (very high in fiber).
I hit up the gym when I got out of work. I did 35 minutes on the elliptical, 25 minutes on the arc trainer and then 30 minutes on the treadmill. It felt great. I'm definitely having a better day today then I did yesterday (thanks for all the encouragement by the way)! My night got even better when I got home and my friend had plowed the driveway for me, YAY! I had to do the shoveling up close to the house but it was nice to not have to do the whole driveway in the dark.

Today Sucked!
Honestly I don't like it when women talk about that time of the month, it just bugs me and I think that there are some things that should be kept private and not be broad casted to anyone and everyone that will listen. Plus I really don't like to blame things on it (like weight gain and not being able to control what I eat or my emotions). That being said, today was hellish and the only real reason I was in that mood had to be because of it, nothing else went as wrong as I perceived them to go! Here's my complete over-reactions...
We got 8-10 inches of snow last night into the morning, but I didn't have to be anywhere this morning due no work for today's holiday. My friend plowed the end of my driveway (where the plow truck pushes it in and makes it 15 inches of hard ice/snow) and I shoveled the rest. Well that was all done by 10 am and I got myself thinking that the plow truck would never come back to plow the road again so I wouldn't EVER be able to go to the gym since I wouldn't be able to get back up the hill on my road to get home. This made me furious, I mean what good is a day off if you are stuck at home and can't do the things you wanted to do right?
After stomping around my house, crying and yelling for about an hour I finally realized that I could just bring clothes to change into and my shower stuff to the gym in case I couldn't go home until the road was plowed. I went to the gym and was instantly out of my bad mood. 35 minutes on the elliptical and 60 minutes on the treadmill, showered and decided to go to TJ Maxx.
My day was going good til around 5 when I realized that I forgot to make buffalo chicken dip for work tomorrow. I had to drive all the way back to the grocery store even though TJ Maxx (where I had been earlier) is in the same parking lot. UGH!! Not only did I not want to do that, I didn't want to make the buffalo dip either, shredding the chicken sucks so bad that I can barely deal with it (and don't tell me to use canned chicken cause you just must be joking, it is not the same LOL). I just about lost it, I'm talking crying hysterically in the car and yelling like a complete psychopath. I'm sure passing cars thought I was a total nutcase.
I'm home now, I've had my dinner. The chicken has been cooked and shredded it is currently marinating and I'm waiting for the cream cheese to soften until I finish it up. I'm watching the Simpson's Movie (one of my favorite shows) since it is on TV right now and things are going well. I just can't shake feeling angry, even though I know it's completely ridiculous. It's times like these that I am so glad I live alone and have the place to myself :)

The Vikings spanked the cowgirls today :)
I had a great day today. I had volunteered to sell raffle tickets for a quilt to benefit the women's auxiliary and I had to do that at the monthly Legion breakfast. Which basically means I had to sit in a room and smell sausage, pancakes and bacon for 3 hours. Who is testing me with this shit? I mean really is that even necessary?
I did well, I made sure that I went into the kitchen to get my breakfast so I could get exactly what I wanted, one egg, one piece of bacon and 1/4 cup of home fries. It was heavenly lol. As soon as the breakfast was over I hauled butt to the gym and did 35 minutes on the elliptical and 10 minutes on the treadmill (short workout today, I had to be ready for the start of the Vikings game). I'm just glad that I talked myself into going and didn't skip it completely. I honestly think that wearing your workout clothes is a HUGE motivation factor in getting my butt to the gym. I wore them while I was selling the tickets so what excuse did I have after it? NONE, mission accomplished.
I had my 4 MGDs that I had planned for and my food which even included a few delicious chicken wings. I will admit it is hard for me to stick to the 4 beverages (honestly I can drink 8-10 easy watching football) but I am glad I have been doing it. I don't get hungover and I am able to finish my night without stuffing my face when I get home. Instead of doing that tonight I rewarded myself with a bubble bath complete with candles and a funny book.
I have tomorrow off so I plan on spending a good amount of time at the gym which reminds me I need to charge my IPOD.
Great start to a long weekend :)
Today was I had a productive day. I woke up this morning and got my ass in gear first thing. I threw my gym clothes on and went to Walmart. I hate going there, it seems like no matter what I am going in to buy I end up spending $50 and it's never on anything I actually want. I mean who really wants to pay for things like cat litter and laundry detergent?
Then I went straight to the gym. 35 minutes on the elliptical, 60 minutes on the treadmill. The elliptical was hard today, I'm not sure why. Maybe because I went out last night, but I only had 3 MGDs and I was home by 9 so it shouldn't have been that.
I had to go to the laundry mat this morning too but it wasn't busy so I finished all my chores before 1 and had the rest of the day just to hang out. So I decided to go down to the American Legion down the road and play Meat Bingo LOL. Yup, they actually play bingo for meat/seafood packages. It's pretty funny and some of those people get really excited. FYI I didn't win anything but I only played games that were for money or seafood :)
I went out for dinner at the 99 tonight. I had a bunch of points so I had a 6oz steak and a shrimp skewer w/broccoli, winter squash and a diet pepsi. It was fantastic!

So yesterday I celebrated...
It was my first weigh in and I lost 7.6lbs!!! I must admit it felt fantastic when I stepped on that scale and heard the new number...157.2lbs. I mean I want to go way lower then that but I am so out of the 160's!
I went out and celebrated but I definitely didn't over do it. I am back OP today and it's Friday night so I am going to go out and have a few adult beverages with my friend for her birthday. I already hit up the gym (35 minutes on the elliptical and 25 minutes on the treadmill). I have a long weekend and I am looking forward to taking advantage of it.

Weigh in tomorrow!
And I am excited, LOL. I just want to see how well I did. I have been OP for 8 total days and I have been to the gym every one of those days. I actually feel great. I am hoping for a good size lost to motivate me and show all the hard work I've done. NO, I do not expect this every week but I do realize that the first week can be excellent because of the dramatic change in eating habits (going from eating everything and anything I want to eating within my points and following the 8 healthy guidelines) and adding exercise (none to at least 30 minutes intense cardio).
Today I had dinner at my Oma's. This week was no different then any other, she cooks great food and it's healthy. I didn't have time for the gym before so I went after. It was packed UGH so I had to go to the dreaded Arc Trainer (BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO) 30 minutes in hell then 30 minutes at an incline of 6 on the treadmill and 30 minutes with no incline on the treadmill. I only stayed that long because Two and 1/2 Men came on and I wanted to watch it :)
My fingers are crossed for tomorrow, my weigh in is at 515pm so I have the entire day to get through. I'm sure some people eat next to nothing but I'm going to have:
B: cherries and a light and fit yogurt
L: homemade cabbage soup
+ a ton of water
I want to keep it light since I plan on going out for dinner and want to have a pulled pork salad.

Another long day
Today was another long day (work, gym, legion auxiliary meeting). I had to take all the incoming calls today which means I can't leave the office. Tuesdays are the day that I love to pack a bunch of snacks to eat throughout the day instead of breakfast and lunch. Today at work I had:
blood orange
light and fit strawberry banana yogurt
baby carrots with kalamative olive hummus
arnold sandwich thin toasted with spray butter
yoplait delights raspberry and chocolate
diet mtn. dew
6 16oz glasses of water
I kept up with hitting the gym today too. 40 minutes on the elliptical and 20 minutes on the treadmill.

I am so freakin' tired...
Today was a hard day. I got up and went to work which is normal for a Monday. Then I went to the gym and it was packed, I mean so packed I had creatively park the Scion (which is not a big car). No machines to chose from so I had to get on UGH...the Arc Trainer. Remember these? They line the gate of hell...
Well anyways, I made it through my 30 minutes without throwing myself on the ground and crying but only because I kept telling myself there were way too many people around to witness this behavior. Then I got on the treadmill and walked for 30 minutes, a good tv show came on so I was able to do 30 more watching it for a total of 60 minutes.
I got home and I still had to do laundry so off to the laundry mat I went all stinky from the gym but not really caring. I didn't get home til 8pm so I am so glad that I was planning on having leftovers anyway. I ate that and now I am completely ready for bed. Early night :)

Maybe next year for the Pats :(
I got up this morning and went to the gym before the football party that I was attending. Tried a new machine, the Arc Trainer. I'm pretty sure that these are lined up outside the gates of hell. I was sweating like a champion and my legs burned but I completed my 30 minutes and went on to the treadmill for another 30 minutes.
Well, the Pats ruined their chances at the Super Bowl this year. They didn't show up to play and they didn't get the job done. I however totally kicked butt at the party. I brought a chex mix covered in white chocolate since it was requested AND carrot sticks w/hummus. I didn't touch any of the chex mix or any of the other good football party food. I stuck with my carrots and hummus, some pea pods that someone else brought at one small meatball. I started with a water then had my 4 MGD 64's that I had planned on, followed up by a diet coke. All in all I think I did fantastic. I stuck right to what I had planned.
I was thinking about skipping the gym tomorrow since I've worked out everyday since I started working out last Tuesday but I changed my mind...my challenge this week is to remain OP and go to the gym everyday until my weigh in on Thursday when I'm going to take a break for one day.

Ordering Out...
There is definately something to be said for staying in on a Friday night...the next morning it is WAY easier to get to the gym!!! I felt great this morning, got up and went. I did 50 minutes on the eliptical (with ease I might add) and then 20 minutes on the treadmill (then came home and shoveled). It definately felt great to be hangover free and ready to go this morning.
I went out for dinner tonight. We just went to Applebees but it was really difficult. I was so nervous that I was going to make a bad decision that I actually felt sick to my stomach. I know they have the Weight Watchers Menu but that did not grab my attention like a quesadilla burger and fries or the ultimate trio (drool...cheese sticks, dynamite shrimp and steak quesadilla towers OMG).
I felt terrible for the person I was with, I think I looked visibly upset/sick. First I didn't want to sit in the bar since I knew I'd order a beer. Then I sent the waitress away three times because I couldn't make up my mind (honestly I was worried that I would just scream out burger and fries w/a brewtus bud light as she approached). I just didn't think I'd like any of the WW items but I finally settled on the Cajun lime tilapia w/double veggies since I really don't enjoy rice at restaurants that much. I thought it was too expensive for what it was BUT when it arrived I found it to be very good and I actually enjoyed it.
Mission accomplished...I don't know why I was so worried but I conqured my first dining out experience without ordering a side salad and water LOL.

Friday night at home??? NO WAY!
Yup, I'm at home and it's a Friday night. I can barely believe it myself. I got out of work and had forgotten my gym bag at home so I went to get it. Well it was snowing and I could barely get up my road, needless to say...NO GYM! But you know what? That didn't stop me from working out. I used the OnDemand feature with my cable and was able to work out with Jillian Michaels then did some ab work with the exercise ball. YAY ME!
I had a Boca burger for dinner tonight again (same thing as last night). I think I am craving them lately which is really strange or maybe I'm just being lazy and they are so easy to make? Who knows and who cares because with a little bbq, fat free cheese, lettuce, tomato on an arnold sandwich thin they tastes fantastic.
I was planning on going out but the roads are bad and it's just not worth it, I'll save the calories. I'm already in my pjs, couching it and waiting til 8pm to rent a movie. It's a toss up between Julie and Julia or The Hangover. I guess a good thing about being single is I get to pick lol.

Thirsty Thursday
Well I survived going out drinking without going off program!!! Yay me :) I planned to have 4 MGD 64s and go out for dinner. Well I made a better choice and ate at home (saved points) and then went out and had my beverages. I am so ON right now, LOL. I honestly can't believe that I am doing this well OP.
I went to the gym today too. I did the first day of Couch to 5K, actually a little bit more then the challenge. I'll admit it was hard for me. I don't run unless someone is chasing me and if you didn't notice I'm SINGLE so no one is ever chasing me!!! My knees hurt, ugh. I wish I could run outside because I think it might be better but I live in New Hampshire and well, it's January (hello snow and ice). So I walked for 5 minutes, then ran for 90 seconds, walked for 90 seconds, ran for 90 seconds...and so on for 35 minutes. Then I stayed on the treadmill walking at different speeds and inclines for another 25 minutes. Total 60 on the treadmill.

Tired...then a terrible call UGH.
Today was a little bit easier eating wise and at the gym. I hit up the gym early and was able to get in 35 minutes on the eliptical and a 10 minute cooldown on the the treadmill. The eliptical was surprisingly easier which was nice but I'm definately tired now.
I was really looking forward to dinner at my Oma's house tonight (Oma=grandmother, I go there every Wednesday night for dinner). She does a great job and sticks with a weight watcher friendly menu. Tonight she made meatloaf, squash, green beans and salad so that's not to bad at all. She even gave me some strawberries to bring home for dessert.
UGH I just got the nastiest phone call from the ex apparently he thinks it's really cool to hang out with my other ex and then call me and tell me all the nasty things he said about me...why he would want to share such filth with me is beyond me? I just don't understand how that could ever make me feel good, EVER! UGH if he just kept his fucking mouth shut I would never have heard any of that crap, it makes me so mad!!!
Yup, crying a little, just trying to tell myself at least I am making myself better then all of these idiots. Inhale...exhale...move on...move on...ugh.

Back to the gym
So I started today back at the gym after work and I brought my friend. It was packed in there with all the New Years resolution people like me. I managed to snag two ellipticals and that was that. I only did a 1/2 hour but it was set on random at a level 5. I don't want to start out too hardcore and not be able to keep it up. I am definately tired and I worked up a sweat.
I stayed OP today so far. I made an absolutely delicious dinner tonight. I really wanted breakfast for dinner so I made this breakfast casserole.
4 eggs
2 egg whites
1/2 cup skim milk
1 cup broccoli
1 cup mushrooms
1/2 cup asparagus
1/2 cup tomatoes
1/2 cup shredded cabot 50% reduced fat cheese
4 jimmy dean turkey sausage links
-cook sausage as directed on box allow to cool and cut in bite size pieces
-mix eggs and milk together in bowl
-dump egg mixture in casserole dish (that has been sprayed w/cooking spray)
-add in all veggies, sausage and cheese
-stir to evenly distribute the stuff in there
-375 degrees for 45 minutes
4 servings 5 points each...delicious w/an arnold sandwich thin toasted

2010...here is the plan
It's the New Year, the time of resolutions. Last year mine was to lose weight and I did, I lost more then 25lbs, felt fantastic and received many compliments. Then in the same year I fell off the wagon and gained it all back. This year my resolution is to save money from my paycheck each payday, I find no need to make a resolution about weight loss because that is GOING to happen. I am determined, I am ready and it's time to really deal with this and lose the weight for good. I'm not getting any younger and it's not going to get any easier.
The first step of my plan is that I joined Weight Watchers tonight and I am going to attend the meetings. Tonight I weighed in and I am at 164.8lbs (the LARGEST number I have ever seen on the scale). I can currently only wear two pairs of jeans and I am wearing my mother's left over fat pants...life is bad. I am 5'3" and my measurements are:
chest: 38 inches (D cup lol)
stomach: 37 inches
hips: 42 inches
thighs: 22 inches
biceps: 12 inches
I wear size 13 pants and x-large shirts (sometimes large).
I will weigh in each week on Thursdays at 5:15pm. I would have waited til then to weigh in this week but honestly it would have allowed me to stuff my face with food until Thursday and enough is enough I can not take it anymore.
I currently get 22 points a day and 35 points a week. I'm going to plan my meals the night before and pack my lunch before bedtime.
My next step is to get to the gym. I have decided to bring a friend along who does not have a membership so that I will be responsible for getting them there (I seem to make time to help other people out and neglect doing things for myself so this seemed like the way to go).
